Har-Tru is back in Charleston as a premiere sponsor of the Credit One Charleston Open!
The Charleston Open is the largest women’s only tennis tournament in North America and has been a pioneer in women’s professional sports since 1973. This is the first major tennis tournament played on our innovative sub-surface irrigation system, HyQ.
Did you know: Each HyQ court has nearly a quarter-mile of pipes below the court surface?
This year, the tournament features five top 10 players, five past champions and four Grand Slam champions - a star-studded event! The Credit One Charleston Open, which was recently named the 2022 WTA 500 Tournament of the Year, is the annual kickoff to the clay season on the WTA Hologic Tour.

Ed Montecalvo, Har-Tru’s Consulting Services Manager, will work his magic helping the Charleston Open maintenance team ensure the surface is performing its best throughout the tournament.
Join us on the Har-Tru Activation Court! This year, we partnered with XGLOsive for a black light tennis event where tennis meets the nightclub - Play On After Dark!
We will also have Lobster ball machines on site, as well as a Wingfield Box so we can host AI-based performance tracking demonstrations. If you want video proof of how well you play, here’s your chance!
